The Future of Film

I grew up on TV, movies and books. It was all story. It’s how I communicate with the world, and how I learn. I think movies are one of the most powerful mediums on the planet.

I love talking about where film is going: how AI is going to affect creation, distribution and streaming, and what the creator economy means for the people who make things.

Building IndieFlix taught me about being an entrepreneur: raising money, weathering tough times and adapting to new technology, from DVD on demand to streaming.

I’ve had the privilege of presenting at the biggest and brightest festivals and film societies all over the world, and at the tiny gems in small towns, which are often the most passionate communities of all. Story is a great connector and community builder.
